Fifth Quarterly Meeting of EAC Member States’ Geneva Delegates forum at CUTS Geneva Resource Centre

The East African Community (EAC) Geneva-based delegates’ informal working lunch meeting took place at CUTS Geneva Resource Centre (GRC) on 21st November 2011. The agenda was to brief the delegates on the progress of CUTS GRC’s ongoing FEAD Project in the EAC and on the newly initiated project entitled “Promoting Agriculture, Climate and Trade linkages in the East African Community” (PACT EAC), as well as to discuss issues related to preparations towards the forthcoming WTO Ministerial conference.

First Meeting of EAC Member States’ Geneva Delegates Forum at CUTS Geneva Resource Centre

CUTS Geneva Resource Centre has launched the EAC Forum for the Geneva based delegates of the East African Community Member States to facilitate discussions on issues of interest to them with technical inputs from CUTS. The Forum will be hosted once every quarter. The first meeting of the Forum was held on 17th February 2010.
