The 10th informal, quarterly meeting of the Geneva Missions delegates of South Asian countries was held at CUTS GRC at lunch time on 14th September 2011. The first discussion item for this meeting related to the upcoming 8th WTO Ministerial Conference which is to be held in Geneva from 15-17 December 2011. The second item related to a short briefing on CUTS Centre for International Trade, Economics and Environment (CUTS CITEE) on-going projects and activities in South Asian countries

The second informal quarterly meeting of South Asian Geneva Missions delegates was held at CUTS GRC on 12 June 2009. As agreed in the 1st quarterly meeting held on 16 March, the second meeting focused its discussions on Aid for Trade based on a note prepared by CUTS GRC.

1st Quarterly Meeting of South Asian Geneva Missions Delegates

As requested by Geneva Missions delegates of South Asian countries in the meeting held in Geneva, Switzerland on 13 January 2009 to present the research findings of CUTS Project on South Asia Forum for International Trade (SAFIT) 2, CUTS GRC launched an informal forum for these countries in early 2009. First meeting was held at CUTS GRC on 16 March 2009 which was an opportunity for the South Asian Geneva Missions delegates to discuss issues of interest to them in the WTO in an informal setting. They requested CUTS GRC to hold such meetings on quarterly basis.
